Pre-K Early Intervention Program: This is a 1/2 day or full day program for children 3 to 5 years of age with special needs. It is a developmentally based, theme oriented, pre-k program focusing on increasing the development of each child’s communication, language, and socialization skills along with increasing learner readiness skills. Our learning activities are theme based. The daily schedule emphasizes: socialization, play, gross motor, fine motor, sensory, speech, language, oral motor, snack, music/songs, and pre-academic skills. Learning is offered in small groups with a low child to adult ratio. There are many Special Days incorporating the family including: Muffins for Mom, Donuts for Dad, Grandparents Day, field trips, Thanksgiving Feast, Santa Claus at our Christmas party, and many other holiday celebrations. Parental involvement and communication is a very important part of the program. There will be daily notes, a weekly newsletter, Volunteer Program, and open communication by phone, e-mail, and Parent/Teacher Conferences.
Children are not required to be toilet trained.
