Music Therapy

and Occupational Therapy

Music Therapy is a useful modality for most special needs children. Some of the primary, initial goals for music therapy may include minimizing sensory overload, rituals, and destructive behavior. Occupational Therapy helps children to enjoy and enhance their abilities by engaging in a variety of sensory experiences.  Some of which are:  fine motor games and crafts, challenging obstacle courses, water fun, basic cooking skills, self help skills including cleaning up after meals, forming peer relationships and social interactions!
