Ms. Lorissa

Ms. Lorissa first joined the Cisco Center team as an aide in March of 2022 during her Junior year of High School. She has always had a passion for working with the special education community and was looking for experience in the field. In 2023 she became lead teacher certified after completing her 90-hours and still serves as a lead teacher at the center while she continues her education. She is currently attending Loyola University Maryland on track to receive her Bachelor’s of Science in Speech Pathology and Biology with a minor in Health and Human Experience. Ms. Lorissa plans to continue working with the special education community after getting her masters in Speech Pathology.

Throughout her time at the center Ms.Lorissa has gained experience in supporting and managing behaviors, classroom management, avocation work, plus emergency preparedness and medical trainings. She most enjoys the time she gets to spend working with and supporting the kids as well as getting to be a part of watching them grow up.
